Legend

There's a legend, about a dragon who brings the thick damp fog every morning and evening. The Legend of Bog. No dragon can see through the thick cloudy air, except for The Bog Dragon. The story, mainly meant to scare hatchlings from wondering off, claiming that the ones who did, were eaten by The Bog Dragon, never to be seen again. This story worked pretty effectively. However, one morning, the fog was thicker than ever. Dragons who had grown up hearing the legend, began to worry that it may actually be real. They all gathered together, and voted that some members go and investigate the bog together. And so they did. Upon scouting through the forest, they hear a chirp. Then a small scream. They followed the noises, ready to fight but what they found stopped them in their tracks. When they returned to the clan with their findings, the entire clan was stunned. A little hatchling. Freshly hatched. Just a normal Skydancer hatchling. Where he came from, besides the bog, no one knows. That little hatchling, was named Legend. Though a lot of dragons call him Bog. He, unlike the others, can see perfectly through the mass of mist. And now patrols every morning or evening through the mysterious bog to ensure nobody has gotten lost, hurt, or abandoned...
