Many of the dragons from Arrow's clan despised him for his "dull" and "ugly" colours. They called him names and would constantly show off their radiant emerald green or turquoise hides in front of him. Arrow couldn't take it anymore, so he left the clan. After what seemed like weeks, he was found and rescued by the lovely mewtwolady (seriously, if you haven't, go check out her lair). He grew up in her clan, but, still, no one wanted him. After a few years, Azura found out about this wonderful act of kindness and took in some of the dragons from the rescue lair herself! Once on the way out, Azura noticed the green mirror looking extremely down in the dumps. She asked him what was wrong and when the mirror explained, the pearl catcher instantly gave him a huge hug and shouted - "Welcome to the family!". Arrow almost started crying, because he had never really known what a hug was and now he was finally going to get a forever home?! When the mirror arrived, he felt a bit shy, but quickly accepted his new clan as home. Rashad took Arrow under his wing and tought him everything about stealth and camouflage. He even gifted the mirror a bow and arrow, which the green dragon mastered in a few weeks! Guess it's true what they say, your name does tell a big part of your personality.
