there it was a traditional Chinese style lantern that took many hours to create it had the Chinese symbol
of luck on it Yùnqì. Mom? why do we make the lanterns? well eyeguy when the clan was still new a hoard of beastclaners came to sack the city for gold and glory. We called them the sea because they sent waves of burning balloons at the city in hopes of burning it down. we were able to extinguish the balloons but we all knew once we ran out of extinguish substance the city would be alight we only had enough for 7 days. each day we prayed to the spirits for a southerly wind so the balloons would slam right into the line of beastclaners. on Monday and Tuesday it was a northerly wind on Wednesday and Thursday it was a westerly wind on Friday and Saturday it was a easterly wind and on Sunday the second to last day it was southerly. The lanterns turned around into the beastclaners shattering the line and forcing a retreat it was a miracle so every last week of march we celebrate our clans victory and thank the wind.
