NOTES - Is a sheep / fox / probs Chimera person!! - Based on a black sheep! - She has a normal sheep face... Except for the fangs :'33 - Her eyes are sheep-like, and dark red-ish in entirety! - She's an historian, based on teaching about Beastclan cultures! - Does genealogy too! - Etc. etc. - - insert REDO IN PARTS - She's a mutated Kitsune, who got cursed into a twisted shape. - She looks a bit like a fox Beastclan (so pretty much a bipedal Kitsune), but with goat features! - Goat horns, pupils, mane, and back legs. Still has her fox tail, and ears and muzzle, and front paws and etc. Her general colours are reminiscent of an IRL Gold Cross fox (so a cross fox, with a bigger amount of gold markings... Rather than silver and black patterns)! - Her eyes are like... Red?? And goat-like, ofc :'33 - Went thru "difficult things", back home in her Kitsune community. - For Solaris, it was very humiliating. - Losing some of her fox physical traits, was like losing part of herself; identity crisis / dysmorphia-type situation :'(( - Was exiled by a unrequited lover, actually! - Something about a non-reciprocated relationship going sour. Like, Solaris loved someone who didn't like her back; and that other person decided to punish her for her advances or something?? By exiling her. - Like, she was a normal one-tail Kitsune, died, and was brought back / revived as a mutated shape. - Something a la "Pandemonium - Wizard Village" mystery... Like, the Vertical Lightning phenomenon from those books :'3 ! - Which is a big vertical beam of bright light, that comes down from a mysterious something-or-other in the sky; striking suddenly and without warning, leaving a rather large and very deep hole wherever it touched the ground. - Almost all of her whole Kitsune community died / disappeared due to a Vertical Lightning event, and she "came back to life" as a mutant. - Due to mostly everyone else staying dead (need to figure this out), she was seen as a bad omen, or even as the cause of the disaster itself, by the few remaining survivors... - Her Kitsune Village / Beastclan settlement is now almost deserted, and mostly occupied by a huuuge graveyard zone made out of stone and bare earth; it's pretty sad :'(( - Most of her family died in the event; her unrequited love interest stayed alive, but they pushed as much as possible to exile her, blaming her the most (out of all the remaining survivors) for the disaster... - So instead of growing closer due to the dire circumstances, Solaris and her unrequited crush (named Jackal) only grew much further apart... It was heartbreaking for her :'(( - Since she was the only one to come back, and mutated at that (aka almost barely recognizable)... Her immediate social circle became VERY afraid of her. - Her settlement was mostly composed of her immediate family (parents, grand-parents, uncles and aunts, great-uncles and great-aunts, and also her direct siblings), plus a small numbers of distant relatives, and finally... There was a certain number of "lone foxes"! - AKA individual kitsunes who had left their original groups prior, and who have now integrated in this settlement... Mostly males in majority, but including some females as well. - One of those latter "lone foxes", is her unrequited crush, Jackal. - Also, I do think her crush put the blame on her, right away AND on purpose, to get her as far away as possible from them, too. - In "Pandemonium - Wizard Village", there IS a children lullaby about needing to hide away, and having to watch the skies... Less the phenomenon happens. - Maybe Jackal thought that Solaris brought down chaos and despair, because they didn't reciprocated her? I guess?? Like, a vengeance situation-thing... Which is false, obvs. The Vertical Lightning just happens from time to time, and no one can explain it. - Gotta figure this out :'33 ! Omg. - Solaris raises very pretty rabbits for fur, bones, and meat.. And sometimes for pet purposes, too? - She also spins the long wool-type hair from the Wooly Seekers (the critters from the Mire), as she owns a entire group of tame ones :'D :'3 It gives her a hoard of fibers, that she can then give to Montreal for their clothes-making! - Homesteading vibe, as she has a ranch with some animals (the aforementioned ones), and also other things that she grows; such as vegetables, hay, and edible foods. - She's self-sufficient, eating what grows on her Shard (which is the bit of territory that belongs to her; each farmer or homesteader has one, and it's more or less big in size depending on the needed space for one's needs)... She likes to make very warm vegetable-and-rabbit-meat soups, which are shared with some of the other Villagers at times :'33 ! - Those warm meals are very welcomed by her acquaintances and friends, during the (very) cold times of winter! - Also has a forge with a furnace in a separate building on her Shard, as she is a metalworker! - She forges protective gear and weapons by working metals, and repairs stuff for the Canton's residents :'33 ! - Her favourite metal is silver (she often makes bolts AND ammo, of pure silver, for the Canton's crossbow and Fire Branch users); tho, she also has a knack for collecting gold pieces! - Like, coins! And little baubles, and artifacts, made out of gold :'3 !! - She can also work with alloy (aka mixed metals) all fine, but she does prefer to use pure silver and pure gold for her job :'D ! - Wants a quiet life, away from trouble. - Is calm, mellow, and even a bit anxious at times. Pretty pure, overall :'33 - Just wants to do what she likes, without causing problems to others... And also, without others bothering her! Which can be tough due to her physical appearance. - Lived thru some difficult things, back in her Kitsune community. She was exiled after a bit, and began searching for a better future. - She was kinda a vagabond then, going from place to place, from clan to clan, without much goal (regardless of if she stayed around draconian settlements, or in other Beastclan communities). Her encounters were more or less positive, depending on the days AND the regions that she travelled to... - She finally settled down in the Wolfspawn Canton, thanks to other Kitsunes being present here! She also quite liked the mixed society (so with both Beastclan and Dragonkind individuals) of the Village :'D ! - Also, it was a place where she could be safe; a new settlement for her, where no one knew of her past. - And also, the Canton is a place of outliers (AND is accepting of outlier individuals), so even when others know of her past, and of the mysterious Vertical Lightning phenomenon... They don't judge her, and pretty much no one consider her at fault for the event, in the first place. - Sometimes, some terrible things just happen for no reason, and all that! - Is skilled in animal husbandry, and resource farming. Since she's good at those activities, and they bring her joy... She decided to have a slow and relaxed life, simply doing those things without much stakes. - She, however, struggles with self-image due to her curse. She's therefore trying to find a "cure" for her curse, not feeling comfy with her current body. - She still has her Kitsune powers (like cyan will-o'-wisps), but they are weaker now, due to her being cursed. - Her old community not liking her (and therefore, not wanting to help her out), she's a bit stuck in this curse situation... But at the same time, her own life philosophy tells her that acceptance might be the best bet, here. - Obvs not, like, "I agree with being cursed", but rather "I have to accept this new reality, and fighting it all of the time only results in me getting hurt". - That kinda stuff, y'know! But yeah, such a stance can be tough to bear for her, at times... - - - insert KEEP THIS?? - Farms a variant of "Winter Rabbits" for meat, fur, and domestic pets! - She has developed a distinct morph of these, that looks very similar to silver foxes (in terms of colour and look). - Dubbed "Silver Fox Winters", this variation is soon going to be recognized as an official sub-species of Winter Rabbits. - Silver Fox Winters come in multiple colours; lavender (pastel brownish-silver base, with blue eyes), blue (pale blueish-gray base, with blue eyes), cream (light-brown base, with brown or blue eyes), silver (light gray base, with red eyes)... - Alongside this, you can also have the "broken gene" (white patches over the body) superimposed on the base colour. - However, regardless of the colour (or if there is the broken gene or not), those "Silver Fox Winters" rabbits always have silver / almost-white guard hairs (on their coloured body, or coloured patches)! - This "silver barring", or guard hairs, looks so much like those on the fox farms' silver foxes, that this is where the "Silver Fox" part of their name comes from. - She has also developed other morphs, which are part of her "Silver Winters" family of rabbit :'D! - Silver Cream, and Silver Champagne kinds :'D - "Silver Cream Winters" rabbits are like Silver Foxes, except they have a tan / brown base (with very light cream, almost white, barring). The barring amount, depends on each individual and their genetic + genetic expression... But they have more barring that Silver Fox. - Silver Champagne rabbits are veeery similar to Silver Cream ones, except they're more silver-ish... Half-way between (usual silver) Silver Fox, and Silver Cream colours :'3! They also have a tooon more barring than Silver Fox (akin to Silver Cream)... - etc etc. - Those three "main" morphs, are all under the umbrella-name of "Silver Winters" lol :'D! - Sun is rabbitkin. She's Maiq's only friend, due to this! (Since Maiq is also rabbitkin!) - Her Emblem Shape is a black, silver, red, and gold rabbit with angora fur, a thin frame, three eyes, and looong ears. - Has a Fire Branch, to protect her rabbit stock (and overall property) from predators. - The Shapeshifter; metaphysical metaphor, to explain an ever-changing identity and unstable sense of self... - Different names, pronouns, beliefs, fursonas, etc. - - insert |
