Kiinseyol's mother was one of the original banescales to erupt from the Blacksand Annex
Her mother knew the songs of old, sung by the long gone banescale elders, but unforfunately she wasn't with her for long after a visit to the Scarred Wasteland went amiss, and the foreign bacteria overwhelmed her immune system.

Kiinseyol grew up in the Ashfall Wastes, where she was left by her mother, with little but her wits and her mother's journal to guide her. From this she learned how to defend herself against all manner of beastclan and creatures.

When she was older, she decided it was time to go out and see the world for herself like in the Ancients' song, and took off to the Windswept Plateau - the land of adventurers as she had heard. As she was departing, she met [other fire bane], who was also looking for a change of scenery, and so they traveled together.

While her ferocity in battle and her vivid, stark patterning accompanied by ash-like smoke emanating from her body may appear intimidating, she is rather friendly once she opens up. Despite her affinity for combat, she's always tried to heed the Elders' lessons handed down to her by her mother, seeking peace with all kinds of dragons, even the Gaolers who nearly wiped out the her kind once upon a time.
