Shatteredsoul is a 'broken-soul demon' due to having a damaged soul. Unlike a 'soul-less demon', which is a different thing altogether, broken-soul demons are capable of experiencing feelings, and every positive feeling will slowly heal their souls, but more often than not, the negative feelings often outweigh the positive, since almost everyone assumes that all demons are evil, which is far from the truth. This then leads to a more and more damaged soul, until there is no more left of it, becoming a soul-less demon. Usually, it is far too late when it comes to that point, and is normally irreversible. Shatteredsoul works for no-one, calling nobody his master. Inside though, he feels awful about being discriminated against, since demons are practically 'as bad as those which are shade-tainted'. Even deeper inside, is a feeling of loneliness, and of longing that another dragon could see through his heritage. Channeling his hate for these awful dragons, his attacks are strengthened by his fury. He can fight bare-handed, but prefers to use the things around him in creative ways, for example, reflecting the Sun's rays with a blade at the opponent to temporarily blind them before hitting them on the head with the flat side of the blade to stun them and then attacking them.
Where am I? The air felt cold and damp. Rain? Where could I possibly be? Shatteredsoul got up, taking a good look of his surroundings. Odd. I thought I was going to await my execution due to me killing an angel. He turned around to look at the portal from which he came out of. Strange, the portal must have malfunctioned. Not believing his luck, but seizing the opportunity anyway, he let his fury overcome him. A dark aura started forming at the tip of his claws, growing darker and bigger the more angry he got. In a swift motion, he sliced the portal in half, then quarters, then into tiny fragments that faded into tiny specks. He was free. The rain suddenly grew heavier. The angels will start hunting me down now that they realised their mistake. Spotting a pile of tiny stones, he channelled his aura into them then scooped them all up before dropping them and watching them roll down a hill. This should confuse them! he then started walking quickly over to the nearest settlement, hoping to blend in with the crowd.
Soon, he arrived at what seemed like a camp full of dragons. Seems relatively peaceful, but they probably wouldn't like it if I just strolled into their camp all of a sudden. He didn't want to seem like a threat, so he sat down and called out a greeting. The dragons looked upwards, unsure if he was friend or foe. Seeing that he wasn't fit to fight, due to the fact that his wings were tied together, they approached him cautiously. One of the dragons stepped forward and introduced themselves. "Hello, my name is Fallenleaf. I am the Alpha of the Nature Tribe. This is Silentstep, the Nature Beta," Fallenleaf said, gesturing to a dragon partially hidden in the shadows cast by the leaves. "My name is Shatteredsoul, and I am lost. What part of Sorneith are we in?" Shatteredsoul asked him. "Sorneith? We aren't even in Sorneith, we are directly west of the Starfall Isles. To get to Sorneith, you have to take flight from the Lone Cliff in the Earth Territory, and continue flying straight. Then you will find the Starfall Isles, if you wish to go to Sorneith," Fallenleaf said. Shatteredsoul paused for a moment, processing all this new information. How come I have never heard of the Tribes, or this island before? The portal really must have malfunctioned "I'll stay here for the time being, if that is alright with you and your... Tribe?" Shatteredsoul asked, hoping that they will accept his temporary request. The dragons discussed among themselves, and then agreed to let him stay for a while. The Nature Tribe and Shatteredsoul walked into the Nature Camp, not knowing that someone else was watching.
