On a quest to find the treasures of the world

Saturn was born with a heart of gold, literally, her heart and chest above it were a soft glittering gold.

Her mother was a collector of anything shiny and valuable; so, when she laid her eyes on her unusual child, she mentally added the hatchling to her ever-growing collection. This meant that Saturn's childhood was one being treated as an object. She was kept indoors in a lavish bedroom; unless she was being paraded around by her mother, all dressed in strings of gold and heavy expensive fabrics.

As she grew into a fully-fledged dragon, Saturn started to fight back against the tight rule her mother kept her under. Eventually it all came to a head and Saturn run away from home. Taking all the gold she could carry in a tight bundle pressed against her chest, hoping it would be enough to fund her escape. She didn't realize that the reason she was taking the gold; was her mother's collection obsession had passed to her. So, when it came time to part with the stolen gold in exchange for a home, she just couldn't part with it.

Saturn had only learned the power and influence of gold, not of its corruptive influences, so she didn't notice how blinded she was by its addictive touch. It took many nights out in the cold, huddling over her freezing pile of gold, for her to realize that no amount of gold could keep her warm, safe, or full.

The next few days were a blur of; finally coming to her senses and parting with the gold in exchange for a small but cozy home. Now with a roof over her head and a hunger for collecting, she began a life of adventuring. She turned her attention turned to collecting unusual artifacts to satisfy the urge.
