From which we were brought into this world, is by which we will be removed. From the darkness, void of life and breath, we shall vanish into the pains of disease and death. This is our people. This is our kind. This is our life.

Born into the same ranks as Kru'Raut, Iywy, was bred for war, only to be destined for something smaller. They both strove to prove themselves to their elders, but unlike his childhood friend, Iywy was not from a royal bloodline. She was a nobody as far as most of them was concerned. So she watched, observed, learning how the clan truly functioned. It was then she caught the eye of Cynaki, who too, was observing.

It seemed as if their leader, Shi'Rai'Yang was not their leader at all, but a proxy stand in for Xa'Yang. Later, they would learn of their leader's father, and his true power over all of them. He had given them all a home for their parents, and the parents before them. He was salvation, but also the end of days.

Until one day they asked to become something more. So, they were granted titles, but their roles did not change. They would continue to observe. They would continue to watch. They would see the things that none others would.
