Arkhalis

Arkhalis was put in charge of maintaining the curiosity collection. As much as Renzati enjoyed overlooking her beautiful creations, she had far more important things to attend to. So Arkhalis took care of them for her.

Maintenance normally included dusting off each work of art, adjusting poses and making sure earrings were still where they belonged. For the most part, Arkhalis never thought much of the jewels he visited daily. Except for one.

Sometimes Arkhalis would hesitate and stare a little bit longer at one specific imperial-shaped rock formation. Perhaps it was because he noticed how some of the blue rocks making up the wing patterns seemed to resonate so much with his own colors.

Arkhalis knew better than to try anything beyond hesitation. So instead he only stared, and wondered, where the imperial pebble patterns had come from.
