Nut

Named for the Egyptian goddess of the stars, this celestial dragon soars across the heavens. Her wings are like dark matter, spreading across the sky; her body reflects the cosmos itself. Constellations swirl within her form, constantly changing. Stars scatter and fall with every flap of her wings.

To catch a glimpse of this beautiful Mirror is the goal of many an astronomer. Dragons across all the realms search the night skies for Nut and her brethren. Sightings of her have been recorded since the day she first took flight. Seeing her during the day is especially rare; such sightings have only been recorded thrice, and always at sunset. Nut migrates across the night sky, never appearing in the same place twice. All realms are dear to her, for she follows the stars across the horizon.

She is a nocturnal creature, rarely seen during the day. When the sun comes out Nut descends from the sky. Then she can be found resting in pools of shadow. Her form blends seamlessly with the darkness, given away only by the glimmer of her stars.

One day Nut longs to travel to the moon. Its light is all she has ever needed; there she knows she will find her true home.
