Biography
Dreamweaver popped into existence one day, and decided to found a clan. Nothing much is known about how this happened. Some of the other dragons wonder if he is an experiment of the Arcanist himself come to life. Others just think that this dim-witted dragon simply can't remember his origin because of his memory issues. Regardless of what the others think, he is the leader of the clan, and ends up making all of the important decisions, such as where to leave the mound of broken glass that he keeps taking home. He leaves the organizing to his fellow founder Peacekeeper, and then takes all of the credit, since he can't remember that it wasn't him in the first place. The other dragons go along with it, to make him feel better.
It was the beginning of autumn. The Observatory was bursting with magical energy for the first time in what felt like forever. It was time for the experiments to leave. A huge batch of dragons were created from the deities themselves in all eleven of the regions. The Arcanist had imbued his subjects with great abilities, but there were some side effects. Tundras, for example, were already well-known for their short-term memory. These created Tundras had great magical senses, but their memory was cut even shorter, only lasting a few minutes to an hour.
Dreamweaver knew nothing of his origin. He barely was aware of his name. Was it his name? He couldn’t remember. All he knew was that he had to keep going. He had to start a clan. But how? What was the thing a dragon needed to do to start a clan? He felt like he should know, but nothing came to his head.
Well, many dragons were migrating to the Crystalspine Reaches. Maybe he should start there. The Tundra spread his wings and flew toward the mountains.
Should he ask someone? But he wanted to look like he knew what he was doing. Actually, now that he thought about it, what was he doing? He didn’t remember why he was flying over the ocean towards the mountains. Was there something he needed there? Well, he was heading toward one in particular, it seemed, so maybe being there would jog his memory. Hopefully that works.
As he reached the mountain, he noticed that he had been followed. Maybe he was meant to see this dragon? The Guardian bowed to him. Was he royalty? Uh, maybe he should say something.
“Speak,” he said, in a regal tone.
“My name is Peacekeeper, and I have roamed these mountains for years, looking for a permanent home,” the female Guardian said, “You are one of the Progenitors, are you not?” Was he? He wasn’t sure, but maybe he was.
“Yeah, I am Dreamweaver, a Pro-” what was it? “Projanitor,” The Guardian grinned, amused.
“Would you mind if I joined your clan?” she asked.
“Yes,” he said, then realized what he had just said, “I mean, no! I mean, you can join if you wish,”
“Thank you, Dreamweaver,” Peacekeeper said, “Let’s get to work right away,” Work? Uh... The Guardian started striking at the wall of the mountain. It took him a second to realize: they needed a cave! Right! Hopefully this one could help him remember things when need be.
