Fully gened pure G2 from CrimsonPizza. "I am homesick for a place I'm not sure exists. One where my heart is full. And my soul is understood." Ferōx is the oldest, and boldest of his siblings. He was born in Lightning territory, and preferred it over his mother and fathers shadowy home. He grew up in the electric filled place and once him and his family moved back to Elysian he longed to go back to his birthplace. He did not inherit Rakasa nor Ryuku's power, and this was hard for him to come to terms with as a hatchling. He longed for the gift that his father and younger sister had; dream stealing. He always felt as if he had to prove himself to his family, and was busy searching for a talent of his own for most of his childhood. He was the closest to his second sister, Daesyn. Ferōx had a soft spot for her; her kind presence always calmed his firey nature. As they grew older and the young Nocturne searched for a certain part of himself, he began to wander. He begged Daesyn to come with him on his journey, but his sister refused, wanting to settle down in a clan and pursue her own path. Ferōx thought of this as betrayal, and their tight bond was broken. |

 RAKASA Ferōx wasn't one for rules but there were three he latched onto, the three his mother always followed and subconsciously passed down to him. The situations were remarkably different but he didn't like thinking about that... Rule 1: Always be ready. Rule 2: Always know where you are and where you've been. Rule 3: Do not travel with another being. He'd somehow managed to break all three at the same time. Rakasa was always prepared, she always knew everything, and she kept true to her rules. But most importantly, she was his mother. Sometimes he wished he could follow in her footsteps but she travelled where he could not, creating a rift between the two. |
 RYUKU Ferōx knew a lot about how dreams could affect dragons, how could he not with his father travelling into them every second he could? Sometimes Ryuku came back morose and unsmiling, sometimes as if he'd just experienced the best time of his life twenty times. Something he never shared with his father was that Ferōx thought it silly and unwise to constantly get swept up in fantasies. He knew what his father would reply with, though not unkindly: that he could and never would understand it. Ferōx supposed he wouldn't. Despite him not being harsh about such things, Ferōx already felt the sting of the words in his heart, even when they remained unsaid. For him dreams were intangible, useless to chase after. It's too bad he's starting doing exactly that. He'd always thought himself the strongest in heart, keeping it hidden, not giving it away. He was the eldest, he was the strongest. Isn't that how it worked? Sometimes he wasn't sure. |

As the sun's morning mist chilled him, his thoughts wandered back to his sisters. He didn't think back on them often; it brought a deep sense of mourning to his soul which he wasn't a fan of. Sometimes on the most lonely days he remembered how he swore to protect is younger sisters and how he left that promise long abandoned. Cynefin's heart was constantly bleeding, she'd open her wings to whoever needed reassurance and support. When he was younger he feared for that naivety, dreaded the day she welcomed someone who would not welcome her back. Her willingness to care for monsters unnerved him but now she was older and wiser. She didn't need his judging of others to decide who was worthy of her whether in friendship or more. Daesyn was the knowledgeable on most academic topics, that was no lie. She was a dragon who would spent her life learning and exploring, curious as ever. She understood him best but she'd moved onto the next phase of her life: caring for her children. That was her choice and he wasn't needed for conversation anymore, she had a family wo understood her need for knowledge and related to it. Eunoia, the sister he watched over and protected had grown up. She'd found her calling, had worked day and night and then some more for it. She was a formidable opponent in battle now and he knew she would teach her children the same type of strength. They didn't need him anymore and he'd come to terms with it. So why did it hurt so much that everyone he cared for has disappeared into nothing but empty air? Why did it hurt so much to be alone, wondering about them in the cold, eternal quiet of the morning? |
