Born in the depths of the eternal spire, Zenith is the absolute, undeniable end. She is eventually found in any and all things that are and will be. In every fade of light at dusk, every death and every memory long forgotten, Zenith lurks and consumes. To attempt to escape her claws, to run from it, to hide, means attempting to escape fate itself.

Caught in a vicious dance with her counterpart, Arakir, Zenith resides in the eternal spire, a place so inaccessible and distant that it is beyond reach to any other creature. Its exact location is unknown, perhaps even undetectable to the mortal eye, in an attempt to keep all that is sacrilegious beyond its gates. To attempt to seek out its whereabouts is an effort destined to fail.

Zenith consumes and destroys all which falls on her path, leaving nothing but emptiness and void in her wake. Combined with Arakir, she is what maintains balance, seizing without judgement alongside him. Although her actions may cause grief and sorrow, they are what enable new beginnings, justice and respite. Zenith was forged with nothing but the singular purpose to destroy and take, whether it be good-natured or whether it be bad. To pray to her, to attempt to seek out her mercy or her blessing, is in vain. For she does not hear you, nor will she ever answer. Not with words and not with actions.

V A R U S

"Zenith is an interesting one, because you would assume her to be evil, almost like a reaper, ready to harvest anything in sight. But that is very far off from reality. She is Arakir’s equal in about everything, twisting and turning with him as he creates, ready to eliminate what becomes too much.

Now, I wouldn’t be able to tell you why she chooses the things she does, or if she even chooses at all. If there really is a pattern to how she works. I believe that’s a mystery none of us will ever come to understand, or want to understand, instead grasping onto the selfish idea that there is more to us than there really is. After all, why me? Why not somebody else? Why at all? But existence and the meaning and value of life isn’t what I came here to ponder.

One thing I have noticed is that Zenith is fairly villainized, seen as an absolute evil for taking and never giving. But that conclusion is born out of sheer ignorance. Zenith, or an end to things as a whole, is an undeniable necessity. Sometimes Arakir forges what is not meant to be in the eyes of the good, creating monstrosities or plain suffering. Considering that, where would we be without an end in sight?”
