Kubikiribōchō is one of the swords from the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. It is a massive sword known as the seversword.
For a long time it was wielded by Juzo Biwa who later joined Akatsuki and kept the sword until his death. With him dying the sword was taken back to Kirigakure and given to Zabuza, who was also part of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the mist. Zabuza used the weapon until his own death. At first the sword was part of his grave but taken by Suigetsu who continued to fight with it. He lost it when he was captured and it was later wielded by a reincarnated Zabuza before serving Kakashi during war.
The whereabouts of the Kubikiribōchō after the war were not known for a long time.

When Kakashi wielded Kubikiribōchō he was able to channel lightning through the sword and boost it's cutting power even further.
