Oridiumat

Academic rival of Dr. Runewing. Their previous relationship was uncovered when Cath first motioned to invite the Imperial scholar to study the high-energy magical reactions going on in the Esoteric Therapy ward. Runewing blocked the vote and spread gossip against Oridiumat, alleging plagiarism on top of plain antisociability - all of which was discounted by Cath when the truth came out.


Oridiumat accepted her invitation to work with the Hostel, when it finally came, and the two rivals met for the first time in many years (for Oridiumat) and many bodies (for Runewing). Nobody knows the consequence of that meeting, save that the two can work on the same ward - even on the same cases, albeit with immense friction.

Having such an authority on spellscarring on hand has significantly increased the ward's capacity to deal with patients suffering from over-exposure to dis-harmonic elemental magics. Though blunt and lacking in bedside manner, Oridiumat is an asset - why, even Runewing agrees! See all the time they're spending in the lab together...?

Hoard: Boxes upon boxes of clean white medical gloves - Oridiumat's even more fastidious than Runewing, if such a thing is possible, but she refuses to vocalise her disdain - so that her intellectual opponent feels even more isolated among the splatter-happy doctors, if Runewing is to be believed.
