A huge but obviously old Gaoler is found sitting in the surprisingly vast library of the mercenaries. Thousands of dusty stolen books and scrolls can be seen on the decorated shelves. That dragon with similar atmosphere sitting before one of the shelves was practically a part of the incredibly old and dusty chamber. He turned to look at you through the half-moon spectacles, his gaze calm but firm. "You are not supposed to be here. But I'll assume that you bear no ill intentions, otherwise you would not have been standing here. Go ahead, venture into the Nightshadow Mercenaries' past. This library... it is very special. Who knows what it will offer to you if it deems you worthy, but I warn you, you will not like everything you will find."

Intact Parchment Leaders/Clan Structure
Nightshadow Mercenaries are not your standard clan. They do not have a concrete social and caste structure. However, Aaron is fully accepted as the clan's leader, while it is a common knowledge that Naovis will most likely take over the rule after him. Most dragons do not have specific life-long duties and jobs but they are expected to occupy themselves with something when not completing a mission.

Little is known about the dragon known under a nickname Specter. He is kind and just to members of the mercenaries, but is harsh and cold to outsiders. Aaron is well known for his hatred toward the deities.

Naovis was saved by Aaron as an adolescent and brought into the clan. She is a powerful telepath, but it took time and effort to master her skills and she is quite content on continuing to learn about magic.
