All parts of the Arum plant are beautiful, but poisonous. The spadix and spathe and brightly colored berries that entice many new dragons to nibble, only to be met with the sensation of a mouthful of glass on fire.

Arum may not be naturally rich in oxalate crystals like his namesake, but he is known to cultivate the plants for sale as shade-garden beauties, as well as processing the root for safe consumption and exotic recipes.
