Morgan is a dragon of ambition, they love solving problems and do so passionately. Ever since her earliest days in the Shifting Expanse, Morgan has been an efficient and energetic worker, attacking even mundane tasks such as handwriting copies of important texts that Tricky has not yet been able to print. However they also see the handwritten method as extremely inefficient, and are constantly trying to help Tricky invent a better and faster system of printing.

While Morgan is very excitable and driven, they aren't often willing to bend or accept other ideas. They often argue when told they've done something the wrong way, and will continue with the plan that they've started to prove dragons wrong, even if they see the flaw themselves.
In non-working situations though they can be fairly silly, a trait that was not valued in her home clan, but is greatly valued here, especially by Tricky.

Backstory:

Morgan was born into a clan close to the Tempest Spire, home of the Stormcatcher himself. Their family was a group of hardworking interns, however they were merely cogs in the great Tempest Machine, rather than inventors. Morgan however, was a creator, and strove to be more than her clan from their earliest days as a hatchling. Noticing their abilities and ambition, upper management offered her a prestigious position, however they turned it down, feeling that work in the Tempest Spire wouldn't be enough of a challenge for them.

So they took off, first heading to the Sunbeam Ruins, where their intelligence, but not their ambition was welcomed. There, they found that truth stood more strongly than efficiency. However their time there was not wasted, as they are able to borrow documents found in the Ruins from the clan that they stayed with. Morgan also spent time in the Southern Icefields for a (very) short time, finding that Ice dragons prefer tradition, a notion that they find asinine. Her last stay before joining with the Barnac clan was in the Starfall Isles, where they felt at home with the energy, however disliked the lazy focus of the scholars.

Their journey to the Tangled Wood and their subsequent joining of the Barnac clan was truly random happenstance. They had been heading back home, intending to stop near the Waste to collect some parts for a project before heading home to the Spire and hopefully claiming the position that they had been offered before. However, they ran into a dragon named Tricky, who explained to them his printing project and asked for help collecting pieces. Morgan didn't just help, they collected the pieces and decided to head back with Tricky to help him on his project.
They did collect some materials for their own personal project though, a secret that they're hiding from the rest of the clan.
