Phorcys

They describe him as morose, mopey and there's a ring of truth there. Phorcys is by no means a dragon's dragon; he prefers the quiet, prefers solitude and the easy moments where no one expects anything from him.
Born with the gembond disease, Phorcys is prone to illness and weak bones. It kept him shying away from physical activity, the gems working on his joints and keeping him from making the most of the powerful muscles of his species. As such, he took to magic, desperate for a cure or at least a relief, forsaking friendship in his pursuit. He left his home not too long after this, felt it was too oppressive and detrimental to his condition and wound up under Echo's care, easily coaxed into joining the lair.
He hunts alongside Lyra and Proteus (a recruit who had joined at the same time as him) and has since developed a strong bond with the two of them. Lyra is shockingly encouraging towards his interests, urges him to leave and wander as he pleases.
Still, Phorcys tends to keep to the deeper recesses of the lair, holes up with his few treasured belongings until a member of the lair inevitably comes after him in a gesture of good-will and concern.
