B I O G R A P H Y

______ Merlin is an ambassador of the Arcane Flight. A wandering mystic, he traveled to the Southern Icefield in search of ancient secrets and elemental magic. A young mage of notable power, blessed with the second sight, he was born with an understanding of the arcane, but has not spent enough time researching and learning about the theory behind his raw power. He relies on his talents, rather than his learning. A gifted arcanist, he focuses on abjuration magic, building shields and magical wards to protect himself. Though he is talented, he is still only a student, and has much to learn about the ways of magic in the world.

______ He has lived in this frozen wasteland only a short time, and is often baffled by the other dragons that make the icefield their home. His research is his most precious possession, and he can be reluctant to share what he has learned. Despite this, he has found companionship with one of the sages of this Clan: Hesperidae. Though she is an eccentric oracle, often speaking in riddles, he sees her as a sister of the mystic arts, and they spend much of their time engaged in philosophical discussions of magic and its applications.
