Biography
Mate of Riverspirit. Panthox is stylish and—at least by Fae standards—uniquely charismatic. He makes up for his deficiencies in communication with wit and flair; most find his antics endearing, and his liveliness—which shines through even when he fails to control his tone of voice with other species—has an infectious quality. His idiosyncratic behavior only adds to this; seemingly spontaneous and frivolous, he amuses others with unpredictable actions coming suddenly in situations that might otherwise be a bit dull.
This isn't an accident; though it's not malicious, his demeanor is somewhat curated to help him thrive in a setting where many of his compatriots are not Fae and to keep himself well-liked among his peers. If he does something mischievous, he generally gets away with it without much flack from others, even when another dragon would get in trouble for the same actions. He can be kittenish at times, and just a tad bit flirtatious with other dragons regardless of their gender. Riverspirit finds this trait amusing; there's a bond of trust between the two that keeps them closely tethered, and she needn't be concerned by any such antics, even if it were something that particularly mattered to her. Their relationship is much more platonic than one might expect from their status, anyway.
He's much more watchful than he usually lets on, and to avoid needing to interpret cues, he asks those he trusts how others will react before doing anything particularly unusual for him around strangers. He often sounds ideas off of Riverspirit when thinking of ways to narrow the distance with the others and maintain the goodwill of those he'd rather not risk alienating. He keeps his pranks benign around strangers, but this applies less and less the more he gets to know you; he's never cruel, but tends to cause much more trouble for those he considers close friends. One easy-and-fun target for his mischief is Rusty, who always gives animated reactions but shrugs it off soon enough. The two are often treated as a something of a duo by the others for this.
He will cheat in board games, however.
He's close with his offspring—or at least those that have stayed in the clan—but not necessarily the most reliable role model. Since Riverspirit is not much better in this way, other dragons often find themselves concerned for their children and gravitate towards them as a result. The two are entirely fine with this—so long as the one getting close to them is someone they trust.
Though you wouldn't know looking in from the outside, Riverspirit is much more trusting than her mate.
Affectionately nicknamed Pan. Has an avid interest in fashion and enjoys arranging the trinkets he amasses to fit a different aesthetic every few days.
