Medicus is known to be a very protective and sometimes overwhelming personality. Often not letting many get too close to his mate Hirudo, he is very stubbon, hard headed and often jealous. Many others in the clan often fear setting him off and watch what they say rather carefully. Medicus can be seen often attending to Hirudo's needs, whether it being something simple as fixing up her mane, accessories or even feeding and taking care of her array of pets. Despite Medicus not liking Hirudo's obsession with small creatures, he seems to continuously allows her to bring more home. A sweet gesture, but often something very bothersome though despite that he does it for her happiness over his.

Medicus is one of the other healers of the clan, taking care of other dragons wounds, illnesses and even doing check ups on young dragons in the nursery. Despite coming off as a bit too much for many, he has a soft, quiet side and gets along rather well with the younglings.
