Effe’s Possible Lore notes:

Battlecry (will be given a new name) was like any other plague native. He was always curious with illnesses. However, a dangerous sickness started to ravage his home. It took his siblings first and his parents worried it would get their last surviving son. They’ve tried everything they could think of. While they were researching they came across some ancient texts. Blowing the layer of dust off the cover; they found the text of the Necromancers. The pages were worn and old but his parents are determined that Plaguemother may help their son if he tried to do the trials.

So they brought their son out in the wastelands in hopes he’d hear Mother. Sadly, they themselves felt the illness consume them and sadly abandoned the trials. However not all was well. In addition with them being affected by the illness that took their children; a strange blindness took their son along with the tall tale sing of the sickness like them. So they left him in fear that they’ve insulted Mother.

Battlecry didn’t realize his parents were leaving him until he tried to call out for them to slow down as he tried to follow. He was met by silence. Scared and unable to see he tried his best to find a safe place to hide. He felt his way to an old withered tree stump with a large enough gap to fit himself in. He lived within the stump for a couple weeks before he had gotten too hungry and thirsty to stay any longer. He needed to venture out and thus he left his safe haven to survive. He felt sicker than before but was determined to find his way despite the darkness that filled his vision.

He didn’t know how long he traveled but he knew he wasn’t alone. He could hear soft footsteps.
