 ―Checkers―
A black and white world isn't all bad.

Checkers had the misfortune of being a black and white coatl born to brightly colored parents. He was cast out as a child and found himself in Clan Silverwind shortly afterwards, where he was lovingly accepted.

Checkers doesn't really understand what the fuss is about, but there's a good reason for that- he's not only black and white, he's completely colorblind. He doesn't understand in the slightest what makes him different from other coatls, as to himself he looks the same as any other coatl.
