Jaida is a very cunning Imperial- using her vanity and rarity as one to become a deity. Her influence has taken many a common dragon, be it Fae or Guardian. She has made up a fake belief that- to quote her- "If you bring me your wares and treasures, you'll be as beautiful as the gems that we crave-"
You sacrifice her items and she'll promise any dragon everlasting beauty. The way she makes them 'beautiful' is either:
1. She will actually tell you some dragon beauty tips. ;)
2. Say that your gift makes you beautiful on the inside for providing for a greater cause.

Of course there's going to be some non-believers like any 'religion,' but since so many dragons that have fallen under her manipulation, they think the dragons saying what she's doing is wrong just don't belive in her abilities.
