Surfstrike is a young silk merchant, getting his stock from his adopted parents in the shifting expanse. Each year, he returns to the upper levels to sell his ware, during which the lines fo around the block. Due to this, he and his parents are quite rich, yet prefer to stay in their humble home deep in the shifting expanse.
His adopted parents found his egg on the top of a spire, with an unnatural amount of lightning striking around it. They took it into their small home, and raised it as their own, teaching the young dragon everything he needed to know, from making and selling silks to finding herbs and curing poison. Knowing so much about Soilernth, Surf takes small vacations across it each year, to help poor families or sick dragons. He enjoys what he does and flaunts a large amount of his and his parent's silks around him. He meets a lot of dragons but hasn't yet found one he wants to spend his life with.
