Flyboy is one the the de facto leaders of the troop. On the surface, he seems to be a braggart who does not take his responsibilities very seriously. In truth, he is as shrewd and devious as the forest he inhabits. Flyboy keeps close watch over his patch of the wood. He has a soft spot for outcasts and gladly extends hospitality to those in need of sanctuary. He is not, however, above pulling a good prank on newcomers and guests. Despite his easy going nature, Flyboy harbors another, harsher side. When his temper is roused, he can be a brutal foe with a sharp tongue and even sharper claws. He will viciously retaliate against those who betray his trust or who seek to harm those under his protection. Flyboy's history is unknown to most of the clan, save his mate Virgil. Flyboy was born a fae, but often found himself unsatisfied with his lo in life. Leaving his former clan, he traveled to the Forum of the Obscured Crescent in search of some remedy for his malaise. He remained by the pool for five nights awaiting a sign. When he awoke on the sixth morning he found himself twisted into a new form, that of a skydancer. Considering this change to be a gift from the Shadowbinder herself, he now works to honor his patroness. Though Flyboy serves as the troop's main delegator with outside clans, he prefers his other role as beast charmer. Many of the familiars and companions that have been taken into the clan have been befriended, found, or otherwise reared by him. His easy going ways have also made allies of several neighboring beast clans. |
