Mutuals

A fabled clan consisting of two dragons was established on the border of the Shifting Expanse, right where the Highlands meet the sea. One is a Chargeless vegetarian Guardian while the other is a genius Ridgeback who despises theft- both are outcasts in their own right, but in the company of each other, they are mutuals. The Guardian braves the currents of the ocean each day in order to bring fresh fish for her partner, while the Ridgeback devotes his time to the cultivation of a wide variety of plants for his comrade. They build off of each other’s weaknesses, a perfectly balanced pair who leave no bases unattended. Their story is one of harmony, of love found growing in a most perfect place.

Grocery Store

One peculiar Nature clan has collectively devoted itself to becoming the best functioning grocery store in all of Sornieth. Each dragon within the clan has a single natural specialty, such as growing beets or summoning eggs. They are all named after their magical skill and are in charge of supplying that particular product to the store. It’s an odd idea that certainly stands out, but it benefits the community and brings happiness to the dragons involved.

Narcissus and the Bird

Pearlcatchers are notoriously vain, but few ever have managed to reach (or stoop) to the level of one legendary dragoness- the great golden warrior of the Hewn City, Daffodil. Daffodil is incredibly skilled in stealth combat and is widely considered to be a war hero, but she spends most of her day peering at her reflection in the depths of her favorite pond. One day, she discovered that a heron had stolen her spot. Despite her knack for espionage, Daffodil really wasn’t the brightest sunbeam in the domain, and she mistook the bird’s hunting for mirror gazing. She tamed the heron and brought it with her everywhere, constantly proclaiming its greatness, completely convinced that it was actually her in a different life. No dragon can convince her otherwise.

Palace of Eternity

If the rumors of Sornieth are to be believed, immortal dragons truly do exist. One such specimen still walks among our kind, living somewhere amidst the Southern Icefield’s desolate reaches. This being is a blue-scaled Fae from the first-ever modern generation, a creature shaped by the talons of Arcanist himself. For eons and eons, this Fae has journeyed from his hidden cliffside lair to Nature flight’s towering Behemoth, where he gathers only the finest of tree sap and cures it with his strange magic. The sap is used in the creation of a massive, entirely golden palace. The immortal Fae is the only dragon to live within the ancient colony, and it has only been seen by a select few wanderers. Due to his age and the evolution of draconic language, the Fae is unable to communicate with modern dragonkind, and he will most likely remain alone until the end of time. Forever flying between distant kingdoms. Forever building an empty lair.
