Breeds: Imperial Elements: all Traits: sleep schedule based on their type, blessing of Arenji to their clan, the ability to see the future through Arenji's will and turn invisible in their hours, what appears to be a tremendous sense of "luck" to dragons who do not know Arenji, wanderers no matter what other loyalties they may develop, sometimes devoted to those they are loyal to so they will always return, when invisible taking the darkling form Daywalkers: lean more toward bringing the gifts Arenji bestows, placing that armor you've been looking for closer to your path or misdirecting that boss when they see you are low, sleep during the night and work during day Nightwings: sometimes things have been going a little too well and Arenji needs the balance to survive, while they are not inherently evil and mean you no harm sometimes they shift the situation to deny you your benifits, sleep during the day and work at night Breeders: @desmondtiny Pinglist: @demideity |
When Arenji burst into our realm, they had a physical form, but upon impact the god shattered into thousands of shards and the essence was spread all across Sornieth. Some of these shards were imbued into young dragons and despite how small the amount of Arenji they had taken in was, these young dragons had a powerful connection to the luck god and knew just what Arenji's bidding was. They came to understand the powers that had been granted to them through Arenji and used their abilities to maintain balance on their world.
Daywalkers fly during they day. They turn invisible to pass the will of Arenji without the detection of their clanmates. Some choose to lurk in various coliseum venues, urging a dragon to dodge on low health or aiding their strength to acheive a critical hit. Others choose to mill around when dragons are scavenging and digging, burying that helmet you wanted just moments before it gets dug up. Despite what is delivering what is deemed as "good luck" by most dragons, these dragons should not be seen as "good". They often deal with the little situations that Arenji requires of them.
Nightwings, however, take on a different task. They bring what is deemed as "bad luck", but balance is necessary to protect Sornieth. These dragons are not inherently bad or evil. They add strength to a boss's blow when you're on a strong run in the coliseum, or move that eliminate just out of your gaze when searching. They carry out Arenji's will that says to withhold, but on occasion they are granted the power to gift something great and monumentous, of high value or something that you've been wanting a long time. They are only allowed to grant greater gifts occasionally, however, and must choose wisely.
