____Talisman doesn't like to talk about his past, and not much is known about his origins besides his birth in the land of the Shadowbinder - though the entire clan is curious. It's rumored that his ordeal to gain his powers left him either traumatized or cursed. His alliance with Grimoire, who is distrusted by many, has led others to believe he is secretly working dark magic, and that his reclusive nature is a sign of guilt rather than shyness. All that is known for certain is that he is melancholic and often silent, and reluctant to use magic around other dragons.

He has settled deep into a cave away from the rest of the clan, and seldom tolerates visitors except for his mate. His den is bare-bones except for runes etched into the stone walls, likely protective wardings. Even on rare occasions that he visits others in the clan, there are some he steers clear of. He and Mabinogion, a Wind Primal and spirit exorcist, have a strong aversion to one another, both baring their teeth at each other when they get too close. This has only added fuel to rumors that there is something strange going on with both of them, but neither will comment.
