Denderon

Denderon sits in my lair. His large horns are so impressive that he could probably seduce any of my female Gaolers (I have seven so far). Denderon looks like a playboy, but he is secretly very shy, and notorious for hiding behind his hair. He is very careful to keep his distance from other dragons, lest he poke them with his sharp claws or bump them with his large antlers.

What Denderon really dreams about is living near the ocean where he can blend in. He loves to swim and hates attention. He is known for getting flustered into silence when approached, which some people mistake for snobbery. He uses his wings to great effect in the water, looking quite graceful, but on land, he is a bit clumsy.

Denderon tends to wander off from his lair for hours or days at a time. He delights in finding pools or lakes, but only in more unpopulated areas can he truly relax and be himself.

At home, the exception to his shyness is his relationship with his clan's hatchlings. Because they have not yet mastered Draconic language, the hatchlings don't mind his silence, and they share his love of play. If Denderon had to take a post, it would be watching over the little ones and teaching them to swim. :-)
