Sunfirora's story begins, innocently enough, when a dragon one day picked up gardening as a hobby. (She'd always been fond of flowers.) As she set to sowing the small plot she'd set aside for herself with the usual sorts of hardy plants characteristic of the Dragonhome, she found a perfectly round orange seed in her pile she didn't recall putting there. She thought nothing of it, of course. It was planted in with the others, tucked neatly beneath the earth.

When she returned to the garden a week later (she'd forgotten for a little while, and was hoping the whole way the plants weren't dead from drought) her surprise was immense when she found not only a flourishing garden, but an egg - right in the center - with a crack already running down one side.

And thus, Sunfirora was born.

Her gardener-mother, utterly underprepared and overwhelmed, brought the very tiny and incredibly strange hatchling home - what else was she meant to do? Hatchlings were very rare indeed in her Clan - she'd not raised them in a long time. Nevertheless, the "little fire flower" was much beloved by the older Clan members who were pleased by some reminder of their youths. Despite how they tried to ignore the circumstances of her birth, though, Sunfirora was always...strange, and some murmured quietly that they felt occasionally uneasy around the young dragon.

Sunfirora grew up ethereally handsome - and quite spoiled. All the attention from adults and growing up so different from everyone else created within them a fascinating superiority complex. Perhaps there's more to Sunfirora's story to discover still.

Just be careful. Even the most beautiful plants can be deadly.
