ENTRY ONE: FIRSTBORN
My mother's firstborn is clumsy. Shes tiny, but can't do anything other than fumble and break my toys and tools. Her wingspan is too large and she can't work in my lab without smashing something to bits. I made a mistake in her code, she very clearly has elements of non-imperial drones, possessing a bad memory and ridiculously fluffy fur. Her mane isn't greasy, and wraps around her chest similarly to a tundra, but she has large ears like a pearlcatcher, as well as very small horns. A failure. Unfortunately, mother would kill me if I hurt her, even though I am most definitely her favorite.
ENTRY TWO: FIRSTBORN
It's been a week and she hasn't changed much other than trying to create her own pearl. So far it hasn't worked, but the slowly growing, malformed blob of building fluid may be interesting to use in an experiment. I wonder, is she protective over it? How would she react if I broke it? Hm. I'll try and take it and report back, journal.
ENTRY THREE: FIRSTBORN
The little brat is incredibly protective of the ball of nastiness. It's started to mold over and she still won't let me take it. The first attempt she was lazy but still pulled it away, and the second attempt she outright attacked me, shredding my carapace and landing me in the hospital section of the hive. I'm angry. The thing attacked ME! Her creator! I'm the reason she even has the instinct to protect that blob. I should have killed her when I had the chance. This is my last entry on her, I'm kicking her out of the hive. May she rot.
