BIOGRAPHY
Adara has your standard pyromancy, but with a twist! Adara’s fire is a bit more golden in color than normal and can either burn you or heal you based on her intent. In practice she can do both at the same time to different targets, but it gets harder for her to keep track of the more people that are involved. Her fire has a habit of taking on the shape of a phoenix when used. Healing fire is harmless if you're not hurt and touching it, just feels like when you touch water that's almost too hot to bear… But is oddly pleasant at the same time. She can also set her wings ablaze to enhance her fire and invoke the image of a phoenix. Adara cannot control this ability on her own yet, but think of it as an extension of her pyromancy as her fire comes from her soul. Well, if her soul feels threatened by either a soul based attack or a power theft attempt it will come out in the form of blue fire for a ‘minor’ offense or a blue fire phoenix with it’s point of origin being Adara’s chest for a ‘major’ offense… Or in the case that she’s killed/almost killed by someone as her soul likes to go out with a bang even if it’s being destroyed. She has a phoenix shaped birth mark on her right arm that glows like a flame when she's stressed or using her magic. Later in life, Adara came across a wretched sorceress that was terrorizing the land. She did battle with the mage with her fire, and the battle went on for hours. And just as Adara was about to end the sorceress, the mage pulled a cruel twist of fate on her and cursed her to die at a rather young age... What made this even sadder is that she had a mate at the time who could in theory live forever. And the curse was meant to be heartbreaking for him. Adara and her mate tried to break the curse for years, evn thinking they had it... Only for Adara to burst into flames on her 35th birthday and a hatchling that looked identical to her sat in the ashes that remained... If only there was a way to break her curse... |

BIOGRAPHY
Adara’s curse was broken after spending time with Lance and not only discovering that she had known him in a past incarnation… But that the nature of her curse was vindictive and was meant to get Lance to do something that he’d never do… Bite her. Yet he did so to break the curse and enable Adara to break the cycle of death she had been trapped in for centuries without truly realizing it… Leaving her with a bite scar on her right arm, next to her phoenix shaped birthmark. Adara is now a rather fearless dragon, given not only that her mate is Lance… But the memories of her past incarnations as well. She’s not afraid to call someone out that is much larger and/or stronger than her out nor spare them from her blazing fury should they be deserving of it. That’s not to say Adara’s not extremely kind and empathetic, as she most definitely is. Trust me, she will mother you if she thinks you need it regardless of age… She has forcibly adopted adult children before and will do it again. Just don’t make the mistake of trying to walk all over her as you will come away with some burns for that. |

Short Stories
She sharpened her talons on molten rock, preparing herself for a battle that was about to come. The hive mind species was destructive and battle hungry, and if they weren’t stopped, the world would be destroyed. She was fighting this battle alone, but she knew she could handle it. Her control over fire was unrivaled. She was forged by the great Flamecaller himself, and she didn’t intend on losing. A few hours had passed while she prepared herself. The plan was to hit them with her powerful fire, and hopefully she wouldn’t have to resort to using her claws, but she was prepared to win in any means necessary. She took off, gracefully emerging from her fiery home. Ashes flew off of her feathers as she shook herself, flying out to meet the threat that faced dragonkind. The hoard of pitch black hive mind dragon's flew towards her. Darkening the sky and descending it into a ominous black, she hissed under her breath. “Bring it on.” She let out a loud roar and blew a large torrent of fire onto the first batch, watching with morbid satisfaction as they fell to the ground in a smoldering heap. “Who’s next?” She easily cleared the next wave of the freaky hive mind dragon's. one caught her off guard, and she turned around slashing its side feeling glee from tearing into the chinitin. She finished it off, spewing more hot fire onto it until it finally fell.
