misao was once part of a rogue clan, since destroyed, who lingered throughout the many different worlds with no true home. after her parents, whom she holds no memory of, were killed, misao was left to wander through the starfall isles alone, lost to her purpose and an allegiance. rogues and lost shapeshifters weren't often able to survive alone, as many of them relied on companions to waver through the harsh terrain of the world. tt took her years to build what she has now. after much thought and meeting other rogues through her travels, misao bound them together as a group of misfits: runaways, petty criminals, the talented. they hid in the caves of the mountainsides, rationing food and attempting to find shelter as slowly every cave was too swollen with the growing members. she later discovers that most of those that were cast from their previous clans were attuned to the many elemental kinds of magic, often times shown through impulses as none of them have yet harnessed control of said abilities. determined to create something for themselves, misao proposed they create the beginnings of their own clan - which she later named faculae in honor of the arcanist elemental she's aligned to, magic and the clan's purpose of deciphering the stars. here, she teaches rogue dragons to harness and perfect their magical abilities, and remains at the head of the astrological branch of the clan. her purpose is to see into the future of the world with astrology, hoping that perhaps the world will one day accept magic users.
