______ The former Patriarch and founder of the Amaranth Clan. Blue once ruled with an iron will, powerful resolve and a strong sense of what is righteous and just.

______ Blue has been endlessly looked down upon by other Guardians for having no charge, despite having already set out on his vast journey for one. It is unusual for a guardian not to have a charge so late into his life, but Blue is by no means an ordinary guardian. A Plague dragon at heart who had to fend for himself in the cruel diseased landscape for most of his young life, Blue has the potential to be just as savage as he is compassionate, and takes no mercy on outsiders who attempt to harm any member of his clan in any way.

______ With Green at his Right hand and Yellow at his Left hand, Blue once remained unchallenged as the head of Clan Amaranth, the Plague-borne inner circle. However, there are many young and powerful dragons among his ranks, and Green's whispers to him of an impending upheaval in the chain of command were soon to prove true; he was recently overthrown by Murmur, his own adoptive kin, and her overwhelming amount of support from within the clan.

______ It seems that although Blue kept dragons fed and hatchlings safe across the long span of his rule, in the end, the filthiness of their plagued landscape became unbearable to many newcomers, and his people came to desire change above all else; yet, this was something he simply could not grant them. Although no longer the figurehead of Amaranth, Blue is still the founder of the clan, and the echoes of his rule are still felt everywhere within Amaranth. He is treated with the same amount of fear and respect as he did when he sat at the top. It makes little difference whether he has a title or not.

______ At present, Blue is content with his position as Murmur's advisor. She was wise not to let him into her court; a lesser dragon may have given him too many options to continue pulling strings and siphoning power to himself. In any case, it allows him to sit back and relax a little, take a break from the stress that came along with his former rank, and ponder what to do next.
