Biography
An enormous statue of a Pearlcatcher that towers over the entrance of Insolo. It depicts Candor, the dragon who started it all. The stone is infused with strong light magic— a parting gift of the sun.

Candor was a Pearlcatcher who lived ages before the current clan members were born. At some point in her life, she met a strange hatchling who seemed to draw power from the sun— almost like a miniature version of the star. With time, she became its mother figure. When she discovered the horrific truth behind the little sun's creation, she began the uprising. However, before the rebellion could garner much momentum, she was murdered and therefore silenced. The little sun, in a desperate attempt to keep her alive, could only capture a minimal part of her essence inside a statue. Candor herself is long gone, but a remnant of her protective spirit is locked inside the stone. The statue's huge, outstretched wings shield the entrance to Insolo, the organization of dragons who are continuing what she started. Whenever the clan faces an extreme threat, it comes to life, fueled by the power of the little sun. It mercilessly strikes down enemies with unmatched speed and force. The statue's pearl has an insignia carved into it that reads: "Veritas Vos Liberabit". The truth will set you free. Candor's real pearl is a relic that is ferociously protected by the Sanctum. Only they know its location, and most of them are not even authorized to touch it. The pearl contains Candor's memories; first-hand evidence of the atrocities that Insolo is fighting against. Thanks to Radon's experiments, there is now a way for other dragons to see them. Members of the organization are allowed to view them once at their renaming ceremony, the final step in a series of tests designed to prove their resolve and trustworthiness. After that, the pearl is hidden once more. |
