Biography

STARTING PAGE FOR LORE

The Unifier between members of this lair is not through location or close knit relationship, but a combined faith, and united worship of the land that they have been blessed with living on. They're purpose lies in the maintenance of balance, maintaining their worldly desires with those of the earth and world they co-existed in, but all of which manifested through different forms.

below the surface of the earth, large cave systems stored the home of intermingled clans belonging to a coalesced land only ever really referred to as the caverns

The clans really had no concept of the sky, or of the land that was beyond their caves, and most notably the earthshaker. All they knew was each other and the god they believed kept their home bountiful beyond the suns seeking light, by the faithless befell them the name of "the one true god" But, the different groups of believers had different ideas of what or who the one true god was.

The Prosperities of the Plains to the north believed the one true god was the manifest of equilibrium, a bird born of ashes representing the return of material items to the earth through the controlled destruction of fire. >>

The dragons of the Groves to the west believed the one true god was manifest life through rebirth. The cycle where everything dies then begins again a sacred ceremony to be both be dreaded and cherished, they lived in structures of wood and greenery made to rot in due time, everything existing to decompose for their fellow living creatures, then be born again into structures of something new, co-habituating with all life. >>

in the central west area lie the Marshes, home to those once worshiping rebirth that have slowly lost their faith, an amalgamation and center point market for all dragons home to the caverns. >>

To the east, great trees tower over the communities living in the woods. In the cavern's great awning the broad expanse of the tree's garnered the nickname The Green Pit, famous for its trades routes as the centermost area in the caverns. >>

To the east of the green pit lies a great body of water named the Black Lake that fades into a practical abyss, storing sea creatures of many a kind. those that brave the lake by ship tend to be made up of heretics and outcasts, with either unsatiable curiosity or no where else to go. >>

Above the green pit are the Snaking Tunnels, home to very little, most who live their are great families who existed in the tunnels for generations, and for dragons itching to ditch their life in the centermost communities, hoping to experience hard-fought, dangerous, explorative new beginnings. >>

In the Valleys to the south, what was previously home to those who worshipped rebirth, the populace and land was taken over by those that worship life and death, a story for another day >>

In the midst of the valley's lies a dead spot post the second falling, in a world where darkness represents life, the one spot in all of the caverns where the sun shines means death. there homes the Boneyard Kingdom, a place for the outcasts and prisoners ousted from the Valleys in punishment for wrongdoings. A new society has unfolded there, rife with fighting and the "underground" of the underground, so to say >>
