후드를 깊게 눌러써 맨눈을 잘 드러내지 않는 수상한 여행객. 한 곳에 머무르는 시기는 불규칙한데, 머무르는 곳마다 사건사고가 터지는 탓에 나쁜 의미로 조금 유명하다. 그냥 우연이 자주 겹치거나 운이 너무 나쁜 게 아니냐며 개의치 않아하는 이가 있는가 하면, 수상쩍어하거나 꺼려하는 이들도 제법 있다. 그러나 풍기는 분위기나 말과 행동에서 드러나는 성격은 부드럽고 예의바르다. 사고에 휘말린 이를 몸을 아끼지 않고 뛰어들어 구해낸 경우도 몇 번이나 있었다고. 그 덕인가 실제로 만나본 후에 평가가 바뀌는 경우가 많은 모양. 본인에게 소문에 대해 물어도 운이 좀 나쁜 편이라고 부드럽게 흘려넘긴다.

실상 그는 사건사고를 몰고 다닌다기보다는, 쫓아다니는 것에 가깝다. 그는 세상의 크고 작은 비극만을 예견하는 예언가이며, 그것들을 막거나 누군가 하나라도 더 구하고자, 자신이 본 미래를 제 손으로 어그러뜨리고자 한다. 자신이 본 미래의 장면에서 다치거나 죽은 이를 찾아가 주의를 주기도 하지만, 대체로 목적을 알리지 않고 비극의 시발점을 미리 봉합하려 하거나 피해를 줄일 방법을 찾는다. 그런 식으로 거대한 재해가 될 뻔했던 일을 작은 사고나 헤프닝 정도로 봉합한 일이 몇 번이나 된다. 결과적으로는 알아주는 사람은 아무도 없지만, 스스로 그것에 만족하는 모양이다.

세상의 비극을 막고자 하는 그의 부단한 노력을 아는 이는 아주 가까운 지인 몇몇 뿐이다. 그러나 그 아주 가까운 이들에게도 왜 그렇게까지 하는지에 대해서는 알려주지 않는다. 스스로가 본 미래를 무시했다가 큰 일이 났고 그 일로 죄책감을 느끼는 것 같다… 정도의 어렴풋한 추측이 지인들 간에서만 조심스럽게 오가는 듯.
