Biography
Careful | Benevolent | Secretive
"Keep to you're own business."
• Jeanne is not very keen on being touched. The exceptions being her children. She also makes exceptions for scared or clingy kids at the hospital. She gives others wide-berths which is relatively easy thanks to her small stature.
• Jeanne is known as one of the most compassionate dragons in the lair. Her profession calls for it but she truly is a gentle-soul on and off the clock. Very surprising considering what she had to go through to be where she is now.
• When she's not on the clock she enjoys decorating cakes and pastries. Her treats are quite popular at the school bake sales.
• She has nothing against his targets but she knows her husband and if a stranger is on his radar then it's for a reason. All she cares about is being able to provide a good life for their children.
Role: Head nurse. Child practitioner in training
Nickname: Miss Jeanne. Mamma.
Gender: Female. She/Her.
Orientation: Asexual. Demiromantic.
Mate: Theodore.
Additional Lore/Info
Survival is not always a matter of being the fastest, strongest, or even the smartest, rather it has more to do with what one is willing to do to make it to the next day. Jeanne has done that and more.
Her and Theodore met under less than ideal circumstances. She was a servant and he was a newcomer to her boss's mansion with a goal and a vial of freshly brewed poison. He was nothing but the latest eye-candy but even she could tell he wasn't here as a gold-digger.
She ended up becoming a part of his plans as an informant and a shoulder to lean on. She wasn't sure what would happen to her afterwards but she just knew she couldn't spend another year under her employer's thumb.
When the arrangements were done and she found herself free from her old contract, Theo surprised her (and himself) by inviting her to come with him back to his old birth-place. Jeanne was unsure but ultimately went with him. He was giving her more than a chance to become a healer like she always wanted. They had their first nest soon after.
Jeanne is loyal to her husband. She is aware of his nature and his rather tumultuous relationship with his family. Nevertheless, Jeanne is loyal to him. As long as her husband doesn't bring his work home with him, their marriage is rather placid. Working for her husband's estranged father is the tip of the iceberg of what she deals with now. Bainbridge doesn't scare her, she's met far worse and dealt with much more selfish than him.
She's also Theo's informant and spy. She does all of this without a complaint and keeps tabs on who catches his interest these days.
