Tento

A far as ice dragons go, Tento is pretty typical in her passion (some may say obsession) for documenting. What's not typical is her choice of subjects. Her choice of subject? Disease. Tento has always possessed a great curiosity about the many varied effects of diseases on the body. Who better to use as a test subject than herself?

Despite her appearance, Tento has a more than solid moral compass. Among other more practical reasons, this is why her obsessionpassion has not led her to more dubious ends. Another factor that further sets other dragons uneasy is her attitude. Tento is surprisingly sane and well adjusted for a dragon infected with as many parasites as she is, she also tends to act as if there is absolutely nothing abnormal about herself. In truth, she is not as oblivious as she may seem, but instead fully accepts the side effects of her choices. She plays her role as the fool to the hilt, as it seems to be one of the few ways to engage others in conversation. Beneath her causal personality, Tento stays true to her flight as she can be incredibly detail-orientated. It is for this reason and her superior record keeping ability that she is the clan's accountant.

Tento left her clan and journeyed to the Scarred Wasteland as soon she could. Before actually starting, Tento stayed in the borderlands between Arcane and Plague, meticulously searching for any prior information on disease. She made sure to choose the ones that were not likely to be fatal, and to only host one particular disease at a time.

The numerous bandages around her person are to keep the infection under control. They prevent the various boils from bursting and infecting some other hapless dragon. Tento uses her innate grasp on ice magic to lower her body temperature and metabolism. Though hard work and practice, she has also managed to gain a minimal amount of competence in plague magic; which further helps prevent the diseases from incapacitating her.

Were it not for the many disease that she insists on hosting, Tento would be one of, if not the most healthy dragons of the clan. Being as it is, however, Tento tires very easily; part of the reason why she can always be found to be munching on something.
