BunBun

Ah, BunBun. Sweet, innocent, vapid BunBun.

She came into the clan at Malkairis’ side, chattering and prancing and so happy to meet her new clan mates that she talked entirely over them. Her babble covered the state of her feathers throughout the journey, the awful food they’d had along the way (absolutely no kale-wrapped honey grubs, can you believe it?), and just how quaint the coliseum was.

The expression on her husband’s face said exactly how often he’d heard it all before.

Malkairis married BunBun for her family connections and as a pretty wing ornament, not out of any sense of affection. He treats her decently; she never wants for anything material, and his commissions as an art dealer keep her in all the pretty baubles and fancy foods she could want. She spends her days play-acting at being an artist or fluttering around the lair, poking her nose into the business of whoever will tolerate her. Aurora treats her a lot like a big hatchling, and has the highest tolerance for her “help”; Amphora often puts her to work “designing” a small out of the way display. The results are universally tacky and incredibly expensive.

Overall, though she’s obnoxiously out of touch with the common dragon, she tries her best to be kind; the lair accepts her for Malkairis’s sake, and she’s not a terrible dragon. Just a little... obnoxious.
