While the quiet Fae in the mask is rather intimidating, getting to know Rothchild reveals something very different: a creative dragon with a booming voice that he has an astounding mastery of, able to imitate nearly anyone in the clan with near-alarming accuracy. He rarely uses the ability, despite the pranking opportunities such a talent provides, preferring his own deep voice to talk and sing in. He's also a connoisseur of liquor, cigars, and swords, all the pastimes of a proper gentledragon, and he has a fondness for rings and goggles, keeping a great hoard of both of them for himself.

His mate, Lady, is absolutely his favorite dragon in the land, and he'd rather be at her side than anywhere else, supporting her work in the arts and history and often singing to her as she works. Lady teases him for being a charmer and a flirt, but Rothchild truly only has eyes for her, something he'll never stop reminding her of. Among the Brightclaw, Rothchild is sometimes called "Jazor," a nickname that was first used by Lady but soon spread throughout the clan.
