______ Coleus was the byproduct of a "Franken-nest." He was hatched in a nest made completely of scavenged eggs on the outskirts of the Shrieking Wilds. Once he came of age, he traveled south to the wind domain, his ancestral homeland. He had no sentimental reasoning behind the decision--herbology and botanical alchemy have always been his calling, and he wandered too far while collecting samples. Coleus realized how far away from home he had gotten by the end of the first day, but the tantalizing trail of plants just kept going. He settled near the middle of the Zephyr Steppes since the weather was perfect--none of that sweltering, humid nonsense they had up north--not to mention the near-complete absence of poisonous, venomous and toxic wildlife (something he had grown begrudgingly accustomed to in the Labyrinth.)

______ For some unfathomable reason, vagrants are intrinsically drawn to Coleus. The clan practically formed itself.
