Tia Ash is the owner of the Coffee Ink Calligraphy shop. He's very pretty and confindent, even though he doesn't seem much older than twenty. He loves nature, which is reflected in lots of green in his wardrobe. His true passion is the making of inks and pigments for calligraphy and drawing.



After your coffee and cake are gone, you look around some more, and immerse yourself in the beautiful calligraphic works that are laid out for perusal. You ponder buying some greeting cards, specifically those with the pretty flowers, quite similar to those that you've seen this morning in the garden.

'These are made with watercolor. I take my inspiration completely out of the garden. If you're interested in this style in larger pieces, or have any questions, feel free to ask me.' a voice to your left says. You turn, and come face to face with a beautiful young man. He's moving with a quiet confidence that belies his outward appearance of 'cute young boy'.

After a short chat--he's the owner of the shop, offering his self-made inks, his artwork, custom work and calligraphy introductory classes as well--you take a closer look around. You can see rows upon rows of shelves filled with ink wells in every color imaginable, quills cut from swans, geese and some of bright colors whose origin you can't name, and next to them low ceramic jars with paint.

Further down the shelves you can see thin and high glass containers with pigments and on a display stand on its own papers in every size. While so different from the cafe-part of the shop, it's just as cozy, and you'd love to have a closer look. But time isn't stopping, and you'd like to see more of the garden.

You just might have to come back for one of those classes, the temptation to make cards like these on your own is high.
