In a world of war, chaos, and bloodshed, there needs to be a way to recover.

Valkyrie was the medic in her clan, despite her parents wanting her to fight. She chose this path because her sister died due to a previous medic's negligence. She didn't want to see that happening again.

"Valkyrie! The Fae didn't make it... At least he wasn't in pain."

The news struck Valkyrie's heart. The Fae had been doing so well. She stepped into his room and wrapped the small body in a cloth. It was still almost warm. She brought him to a flower bed and rested his body among the blooms, giving him a light kiss on the head as a well-wishing.

She returned to the infirmary and there were more dragons needing care. She was assigned to a hatchling that hatched early.
