Rakgi is, for lack of a better word, a big baby. He's very tender-hearted and used to being treated as a baby by his mentors. He will, however, deny that he is a baby and cry a little bit while doing so.
He was found alone as a hatchling and was taken in by the clan, raised by Ailana and Seina until he was old enough to start working as a healer's apprentice.
