It nullifies all magic in an area around it, even those without traditional elemental affiliations such as that of witches and outsiders. It is a patient creature that makes it way carefully toward high concentrations of magic. What will happen if it should make its way to one of the deity’s strongholds is unclear. Magekillers may be useful, but it is best to avoid direct contact.

Starsweeper astrals draw power from an unknown source, which even I cannot say—it could be from the fabled 12th deity or from the Shade. If you find these among your clan, Eleven be with you. While their capture is imperative, do not hesitate to kill them to buy time or the safety of your own. Touching any of these astrals is ill-advised, as they can then absorb the very magic that makes up a dragon’s physical form.
