"You could have been a Sentinel," Rustedlight said to the golden Gaoler before her.

"I suppose, but it wouldn't give me as much flexibility. I bear my responsibility well, but I have the time for research too. There are so many in Containment that just need to be heard and understood." Leu stared off. "I wouldn't trade my order for anything."

"This Airship needs more Gaolers like you."

"You do important work too, you know." Leu looked towards the older Gaoler. "I think we're both making a difference with what we can."

"You're too kind. I'd like to hope so, but it's difficult with the court... at least we won with the Nocturnes and Shadow dragons."

"You and me both. May one day, we go back to guarding Shade-beings."

"I hope so too..." The two Gaolers stared off together, each enveloped in their thoughts.
