Unlike the other Imperials of the clan, Goma is neither a sage, a leader or a kind soul. While some might think that this rutheless dragon seems at odds with the clan's policy to ask questions first and resort to violence later, he is in fact a very accurate representation of their darker side. Despite bearing weapons, he is not part of the guard and while his duty is still to protect the clan, he does so at a distance. He is a Bloodhound and his keen senses, ruthlessness and cunning make him perfect for the task. He loves nothing more than the thrill of the hunt and the savage glee of the kill, the glimmer of despair in his prey's eyes as their wild fantasies of surviving are snuffed out. He has no honor and no shame, going to sometimes extreme lengths to complete his hunts. He is a consumate actor and liar and has managed to talk himself out of losing situations, only to backstab the more respectable dragons foolish enough to grant him mercy. However, those tactics only serve to give him an edge: if given the choice, he'd much rather face his prey head-on. He tracks escaped horrors who strayed too close to the edge of the Southern Icefields, scouting parties of the Fire and Lightning Flights as well as any stragglers from these rival flights.

Goma's familiar, Jindo, is a Razorclaw whose hatred of dragons is no secret to anyone who has ever glanced his way. He was rescued by Teller's Rise while they were hunting for a particularly dangerous escaped prisonner who had decimated his entire flock. While Jindo still hates his rescuers, he has seen first hand that the threats breaking free from the Fortress of Ends cannot possibly be contained by the Beastclans alone and since the very existence of the dragon clan revolves around hunting these abominations, he pledged himself to their cause for now. Goma personally requested the spiteful Razorclaw as his familiar, knowing that he would be an invaluable asset in his hunt of abominations and, more specifically, rival dragons. The Bloodhound is the only dragon Jindo doesn't hate and, perhaps, even appreciates. His patron's cruelty and ruthlessness is something that he finds absolutely delightful and has assisted on many occasions, putting his skills of mimickry to use to create traps, bait hapless victims or distract them long enough for Goma to dispatch them.
